“The Christian life is not a playground; it is a battleground.” Warren Wiersbe

We’re in a battle every day. If we take seriously Paul’s call to “Put on the whole armour of God” (Ephesians 6:11), then we know that we need to pray.

But how should we pray when we go into battle?

Satan hates us and wants to destroy us — because the Lord loves us. A supernatural battle is waging all around us and if you are not a warrior, you will be a casualty.

The Bible says, 'You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God.' (James'4:2').'

Jesus himself invited us to ask God for anything that we need. So why don't We pray more than we do?

Our part is to pray fervently, sincerely, and honestly, bringing our deepest concerns to the Lord. God's part is to listen to our prayers and graciously to answer them in His own time, in his own way, according to his own will.
